Log On Tips

  • Not near your computer, but want to attend?  No problem!  To attend the audio portion only, dial 866-699-3239.  Be prepared to provide the meeting number.
  • Do not reuse old links.  Every call has its own specific link.
  • Sometimes it takes a few moments for WebEx to load, until it does so, you might see a white screen with The Association’s logo or a blank screen that says, “Meeting in Progress.”  No worries, you’re in the right place.
  • Log-on to the website FIRST.
  • If participating in the computer portion of the call, don’t use the call-in phone number.  At log-in, the site will ask you for a call back number.  Enter the direct line where you want to take the call.  Within 30-60 seconds, WebEx will call your phone directly.  Sometimes there are several seconds of silence after you answer and before you are put into the conference.
  • Don’t forget to hit the # sign after entering the meeting number or your attendee ID.  This will ensure that your name and voice are linked on the sight in the participant list (rather than your being listed only as “User 01”).

New Air Travel Rules for Respiratory Equipment

Air travelers using respiratory equipment must follow new labeling regulations — or risk losing their seats

Travelers with respiratory difficulties who use commercial airlines need to be aware of a new labeling requirement for ventilators, respirators, positive airway pressure devices (i.e., CPAP, BiPAP) and personal oxygen concentrators.

The new regulations require special labels on these machines to ensure that they meet Federal Aviation Administration requirements for medical equipment. Trying to travel without following the new regulations may result in passengers being denied a seat, or being required to turn off the respiratory equipment during the flight.

Free Wheelchairs for use at several State Beaches!

Some of our state beaches now have wheelchairs available that are made specifically for use in the sand. These chairs are available by simply presenting your drivers license. The State Park Ranger then gives you a chair to use for as long as you want until the end of the day.

Here are some web pages showing the State park web pages that have a special search engine to show which beaches and parks have specific accessibility services available.
