Mind Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a form of secular meditation, designed to help you promote inner peace. Mindfulness is a lifetime engagement - not to get somewhere else, but to be where and as you actually are in this very moment, whether the experience is pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral.

We have developed a free, online MBSR course which is open to people with ALS, families, caregivers, friends, and healthcare providers.  Enrollment is open at any time for the duration that will best suit your needs

Does this sound intriguing to you?

    • Would you be interested in participating in a new program, sponsored by The ALS Association Greater Bay Area Chapter?  We welcome everyone to this program.
    • Can you commit 20 minutes per day to meditation practice?
    • Do you have high speed internet access? (This is not a requirement, but is helpful.) .

Mike Bougher, artist and person with ALS, will be a guest facilitator.
